Don’t Miss Out: Denon A10H Gets a Major Upgrade

Denon just announced the AVR-A10H AV receiver. They say it’s their new high-end model. This is like saying, “The king is dead, long live the king!” even though the old flagship, the AVR-A1H, is still going strong. But the names of the two models are so similar that it suggests that the AVR-A10H is a direct continuation of the AVR-A1H’s design and technology.

The Denon AVR-A10H AV receiver is a direct descendant of the AVR-A1H in design and technology. It is based on the AVR-A1H but with a major upgrade in productivity. The DAC has been updated and is based on the ESS chipset. The updated transformer wound with OFC wire became the basis for a powerful power supply because the onboard amplifiers are rated at 13 x 150 W. The AVR-A10H AV receiver can handle up to 13.4 home theater acoustics.

Support for the proprietary HEOS multi-room streaming platform was expected. The pre-installed Audyssey XT32 room correction remains traditional for Denon. The manufacturer also declared compatibility with Dirac Live Room Correction and Bass Control, which means that the future owner will probably be able to buy those settings separately. The AVR-A10H itself will have a 3-year warranty.

The production of the new product has been launched at the “parent” enterprise Shirakawa Audio Works in Japan. Like the companies Denon and Marantz themselves, the plant belongs to Masimo and is known for its high technological culture and exemplary quality of everything produced there. The appearance of the new product on sale is scheduled for early October 2024.
